Founded twenty years ago by her father, Perret Location is now a well-known family business in the equipment rental sector in Isère and Savoie. Alongside this solid entrepreneurial history, a new generation has gradually come to the forefront of the business.
Marion Blanchard Perret now plays an active role in managing and developing the company, with a clear guiding principle: proximity, responsiveness, and trust.
« Today, customers are looking above all for responsiveness, and that’s what we try to cultivate every day, » she explains.
A career built on high standards and perseverance
Marion’s commitment to the company did not come without effort. She began her career in a work-study program, choosing early on to get involved in the field.
She quickly came face to face with the reality of a sector that was still largely male-dominated: « I had to prove twice as hard that I was there because I wanted to be, not because I was the boss’ daughter, » she confides.
This formative period led her to challenge herself, learn new skills, and develop a strong capacity for resilience: « It made me more combative, more demanding of myself, and probably stronger. »
Now head of the agencies, Marion fully embraces her role and looks back on her career with clarity and pride:
« Being where I am today is the result of real commitment. »
Behind her role as a committed leader, Marion talks about the challenges she faces on a daily basis. Among them, mental load plays an important role: « Managing a company, being there for clients and teams, while also fulfilling my role as a mother, is not easy. »
She also acknowledges that she allows herself « less room for error, » aware of the way women are still viewed in this environment.
